Day 1 – God's Heart is Multiplication

Scripture

Genesis 1:28

"God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.'"

Reflection

The first recorded blessing God speaks over humanity is a call to fruitfulness and multiplication. From the very beginning, God's desire has never been stagnation but growth. Throughout Scripture this pattern continues. Noah receives the same commission after the flood (Genesis 9:1), Abraham is promised descendants too numerous to count (Genesis 17:2), and the Church is commissioned to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

Multiplication is not simply about numbers—it is about God's life spreading through His people. Healthy things naturally reproduce. Healthy disciples make disciples. Healthy churches plant churches. Healthy Christians share their faith.

Sometimes we settle for maintaining what we already have. We become comfortable, content, and cautious. Yet God continually calls His people to expect more—not for our own success or reputation, but so that more people can encounter Jesus.

Ask God today to enlarge your vision. Don't simply pray for preservation; pray for multiplication.

1. Where have you become comfortable instead of expectant?
2. What would it look like for you to think beyond addition and begin praying for multiplication?
3. How might God want to use you to help others grow in faith?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God of life, growth and multiplication. Forgive me for the times I have settled for comfort instead of expecting You to move. Enlarge my vision and give me faith to believe that You still desire to save people and build Your Kingdom. Make my life fruitful for Your glory. Amen.

Day 2 – Every Disciple Has a Mission Field

Scripture

Matthew 28:19–20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…"

Reflection

When Jesus gave the Great Commission, He wasn't speaking only to pastors, evangelists or missionaries. He was speaking to every disciple.

Many Christians assume evangelism is something that happens from a church platform or during a special event. But Jesus envisioned something much bigger. Every believer has a mission field already waiting for them.

Think about the people God has already placed in your life. Your family. Your neighbours. Your workplace. Your school. Your gym. Your social circle. These are not accidents—they are opportunities.

God has uniquely positioned you to reach people that no one else can. You don't need to travel across the world before you obey the Great Commission. It begins with faithfully loving and sharing Christ with the people already around you.

The mission starts where you are.

Application Questions

1. Who has God placed in your everyday world?
2. Which relationships could become opportunities for gospel conversations?
3. What small step could you take this week to intentionally invest in someone spiritually?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for placing people in my life who need to know You. Help me to see my everyday relationships as opportunities rather than interruptions. Give me wisdom, compassion and courage to represent You well wherever I go. Amen.

Day 3 – Equipped to Serve

Scripture

Ephesians 4:11–12

"Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service…"

Reflection

Church leaders have an important role, but they were never intended to do all the ministry themselves.

According to Paul, leaders exist to equip God's people. The work of ministry belongs to the whole Church.

Imagine the impact if every believer understood that sharing Jesus wasn't reserved for a gifted few but was part of ordinary Christian living. The reach of the gospel would expand far beyond the walls of any church building.

This is encouraging because God doesn't ask us to do something without equipping us. The Holy Spirit gives wisdom, boldness, opportunities and the right words when we need them.

You don't have to be an expert. You simply need to be available.

Application Questions

1. Have you viewed evangelism as someone else's responsibility?
2. What gifts has God given you that could help point people towards Christ?
3. How can you continue growing in confidence as a witness?

Prayer

Father, thank You for giving Your Church leaders who equip us for ministry. Teach me to use the gifts You have given me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can serve faithfully and confidently wherever You send me. Amen.

Day 4 – Believe and Care

Scripture

Romans 10:13–15

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?"

Reflection

Paul asks a series of searching questions.

People cannot call on Jesus unless they believe.

They cannot believe unless they hear.

They cannot hear unless someone tells them.

These verses remind us that God has chosen to work through His people. We are His ambassadors, carrying the message of reconciliation into the world.

Two questions shape our response.

Do we truly believe that Jesus is the only hope for salvation?

And do we genuinely care about those who do not yet know Him?

If the answer to both questions is yes, then love compels us to speak. Not with arrogance or pressure, but with humility, compassion and confidence in the gospel.

Application Questions

1. Who are you praying will come to know Jesus?
2. What fears stop you from talking about your faith?
3. How could you lovingly begin a spiritual conversation with someone this week?

Prayer

Lord, fill my heart with Your compassion for those who do not yet know You. Replace my fear with love and my hesitation with courage. Help me to speak about Jesus with kindness, wisdom and grace. Amen.

Day 5 – Here I Am. Send Me.

Scripture

Isaiah 6:8

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"

Reflection

Isaiah's response is one of the most inspiring moments in Scripture.

God wasn't looking for someone perfect. He was looking for someone willing.

That is still true today.

The greatest barrier to evangelism is often not lack of knowledge but lack of availability. We assume God could use someone else more effectively. Yet throughout the Bible, God repeatedly uses ordinary people who simply say yes.

When we place ourselves in God's hands, He opens doors we could never create ourselves. He arranges conversations, softens hearts and gives us opportunities to speak about Jesus.

The call to multiplication begins with one simple prayer:

"Here I am. Send me."

As you finish this devotional, ask God to make those words the posture of your life.

2. Is there a specific person you sense God prompting you to reach?
3. What practical step will you take this week to live as Christ's ambassador?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, here I am. Send me wherever You want me to go. Use my words, my actions and my life to point others to Jesus. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to faithfully share the hope of the gospel. May my life be fruitful and may others come to know Christ because I was willing to say yes. In Jesus' name, Amen.
